Overview:

Welcome to the Back to School Giveaway, a much-awaited event organized to equip and empower students for the upcoming academic year. Join us on Sunday, July 28, at 11 am at the Transforming Faith Church, located at 5240 Panola Industrial Road, Stonecrest, GA 30035, for a day of community support and celebration.

Event Description:

The Back to School Giveaway is a collaborative effort between North Carolina A&T Basketball Legend, James "The Bird" Sparrow, and two remarkable organizations, City of Hope: Safe Haven and Community Outreach of America. Our mission is to alleviate the burden of school supply expenses for families in need and ensure that every child has the tools they need to succeed in their education.

Our Goals:

1. Providing Essential Supplies: Our primary aim is to equip students from diverse backgrounds with the necessary school supplies, including backpacks, notebooks, pencils, pens, calculators, and more, so they can approach their studies with enthusiasm and confidence.

2. Supporting Education: Education is a powerful vehicle for transforming lives. By supporting students through this giveaway, we hope to foster a sense of self-belief and determination in their academic journey.

3. Promoting Community Unity: We believe that a strong community can create positive change. This event aims to bring together individuals, families, and local organizations to work together for the betterment of our youth and our society.

Activities & Highlights!!

Free School Supplies: Students will receive a complimentary backpack filled with essential school items to kickstart their academic year on the right foot.

Entertainment: Enjoy live music, performances, and interactive games, creating an enjoyable and celebratory atmosphere for the whole family.

Food and Refreshments: A variety of delicious food and refreshments will be provided to all attendees, courtesy of our generous sponsors.
