Donation protected
Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
This is my wife's brother in law Sajid, he lives in Mirpur, Azad Kashmir, he is 58 years old, he has one son, and one daughter.
Six months ago Sajid was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome, and has been bed ridden ever since, he was previously completely mobile, and worked as a tailor.
Sajid has to travel to Pakistan for treatment using a private ambulance, and a physiotherapist visits him at home.
The treatment in Pakistan includes plasma exchange which is highly costly.
Ambulance cost from Mirpur to Islamabad is 30,000 rupees for the return trip.
Food supplement cost is 12,000 rupees for five days supply
The plasma exchange treatment is 30,000 rupees per injection, a minimum ten sessions are required.
Physio cost is 1,500 rupees per visit, one visit per day, for at least six months.
Cost of medication is additional.
You can read more about his condition here
Treatment in Pakistan is expensive and payments must be made in advance for hospital visits, for plasma exchange, and the physiotherapist who makes home visits, in addition payments must be made for medication, and equipment.
As a family we have funded treatment this far , however treatment needs to continue, and we humbly request your assistance in this blessed month of Sha'ban and with Ramadan just days away.
Please donate as much as possible and share with your family and friends.
