full-time single dad getting back on his feet

Hi I'm David, I have a 14-year-old son named Silas and I have full custody of him. Recently we have been having financial problems. My car was repoed recently and Uber, Lyft, and Instacart were my source of income because it allowed me to make my own schedule and be a single parent. We had a roommate until recently when they moved to Georgia when our lease ended. Our landlord raised our rent another $300 and wanted additional funds for the last month and security deposit after we've been living there for 1 year. My first month's rent after my roommate moved out was $2345. Having lost my income and not having transportation it was difficult for me to find a job and still be able to take care of my son. His mother owes me $6,000 in child support, and because of hurricane Ian it's been really difficult to find a shelter that has room or any rental assistance to have kept our apartment. The combination of snowbird season in Southwest Florida and the hurricane destroying our county, we haven't been able to find anywhere to go. For a few days now we have been sleeping on benches at parks and trying to sneak in a quick nap at our storage unit (we got caught). We've been carrying our belongings with us along with our cat Dexter in my backpack. We are on the waiting list for a few shelters, and it's getting cold outside. I would like to be able to get a hotel room to give my family some well-needed rest in a warm bed. I need to be able to pay someone to watch my son while I look for work. Silas needs glasses, shoes, and some larger clothes (He's been growing non-stop) We've never been in a situation like this before and we're scared but my son and my cat are staying strong with me.
