Help Me Open The Beehive Preschool- Daycare — A Safe, Loving Haven for Families

Hello, my name is Amber Armstrong, the Founder and Director of The Beehive. I’m a mother, wife, and proud UAW member, and someone who has spent years pouring into my community — whether it’s volunteering my time, donating resources, or simply being present for others in their times of need. Now, I’m stepping out on faith to open The Beehive Daycare, a dream deeply rooted in love, healing, and purpose.

This isn’t just a business for me — it’s personal. After almost losing my life giving birth to my youngest daughter, who endured a long and difficult four-month NICU stay, my world changed forever. I experienced a level of heartbreak and anxiety I didn’t know was possible. But that journey also brought me closer to God, deepened my compassion, and gave me a renewed sense of purpose: to create something beautiful out of the pain. I knew I wanted to be home more. I wanted to be there for my daughter in every way. And I wanted to give other families the same kind of support I so desperately needed during that time.

The Beehive Daycare will be a warm, faith-based, community-centered space — a place where children feel safe, loved, and free to grow. A place where parents can drop their children off and feel peace, knowing they’re being cared for with intention and heart.

I’ve made it my mission to serve others. I’ve helped organize drives, supported families in crisis, saved lives, and made it a point to be someone my community can count on. Now, I’m humbly asking for help from the same community.

I’m raising $10,000 to help launch The Beehive Preschool- Daycare and make this vision real. The funds will be used for:

• Safe, high-quality equipment and furniture

• Learning materials and creative supplies

• Licensing and startup costs

• Building a warm, welcoming space where children can flourish
