Alhamdulillah the Blessed Nights of Ramadan are here!
We hope you've all been having a great Ramadan BUT do you want to make it even greater? Then keep reading…
In these last 10 Days/Nights, Greenwich & Medway ISOCs will be raising money for 'Zaytoun' to Plant 100 Olive Trees as part of their ‘Trees For Life’ Project.
Why Olive Trees?
The Prophet ﷺ said: "Eat olive oil and use it on your hair and skin, for it comes from a blessed tree.” (Al-Tirmidhi, 1775)
The prophet ﷺ said: “The best charity is that given in Ramadhan.” [At-Tirmidhi].
We aim to raise ONLY £405 before the end of Ramadan!
That sounds like a lot doesn't it? But if everyone in this group gave JUST £4 we will be able to reach our target In Sha Allah.
The Prophet ﷺ said: “Allah said: ‘Spend, O son of Adam, and I shall spend on you.’” (Bukhari, 5073; Muslim, 993.)
Imagine the only thing standing between you and Jannah could be just £5!
