FUN-DING FOR ASHA AND THE BOYS!
Join Asha, Jax and MaZen on their great adventure!
Be part of the garden they will sow. Be part of the home they will build. Be part of their community and the success of their sustainable future!
Their story:
It’s been a beautiful yet challenging, long 3 ½ years for single mom Asha. She has moved six times never losing sight to fulfill her vision for a safe, holistic, cost affordable home in the beautiful Santa Cruz mountains.
The great news is, home has been found on a community property with like-minded folks. Yes, to growing an organic food garden, land for the boys to explore, and ease of commute to their dad and schools. Asha will have a separate work space where she can finally spread out and expand liljax (her upcycled children’s line) while she continues her work as a graphic designer. There is so much good to anticipate.
As she prepares for the task of flying to the East coast to retrieve and drive her new home (RV) across the country, she is faced with a long list of tasks that will await her and the cost of work time lost.
We her community have asked how we can help, and Asha has humbly and gratefully shared that she would appreciate the support in these areas:
· Help with the building materials and building (interior finish work of our RV - aka "#lovetribeonwheels)
· Potential new business or connections for print graphic design work
· liljax orders or referrals to artisan fairs/festivals
· financial donations
To date, she has literally been digging trenches for the water and sewage hook-ups/plumbing, and this week will be trimming trees.
We are asking you to consider lending your resources or time, and join us in supporting this family at this pivotal time. Please take into consideration, while the flow of funds will be appreciated at any time, there are immediate needs. Thank you for sharing in kindness, by passing this along to anyone you feel would like to join in support.
May your generosity flow back to you infinity fold.
In deep gratitude,
Meghan Doll
