Plastic Sheets for Homeless Crisp Packet Blankets
My Mum & her colleagues have been making recycled blankets for the homeless out of used crisp packets. They are made by using foiled crisp packets and then a layer of plastic sheeting is applied over the top once the packets have been ‘ironed’ together.
They have approached supermarkets but (yes you guessed) Covid-19 ensures they don’t have community colleagues to help! & so, we are calling on you guys to heeelllppp!
Whether you can donate a few pennies, donate the plastic sheeting directly or just share this page it would be a huge help! Also always looking for washed crisp packets too!
Thank you, thank you, thank you. Let’s try and keep our homeless a little warmer this winter.
