Please assist Alanna recover from losing her home

Alanna was driving in Waimanalo with her daughter, Lyric, Thursday morning, July 6th 2023, when her vehicle was struck by a tour bus and totaled. Both were conscious at the scene and rushed to the Hospital for further evaluation. Lyric was discharged that evening and is recovering at home with her Dad's family. Alanna remained in the hospital for close monitoring of any internal bleeding as she suffered abdominal bruising, a kidney laceration and lumbar fracture; she was discharged on Saturday to a no contact crisis shelter.
The back story: Over a year ago Alanna was evicted from her shared residence and moved into her vehicle due to her involvement with an abusive partner. She struggled to leave that relationship as many do when aligned with a manipulative partner but the abuse continued until law enforcement got involved last year. Due to the ongoing domestic violence case, the state placed her in the shelter, temporarily, for her safety and as a place to start her recovery process. Her mental health has been heavily challenged in the most recent years which has triggered past traumatic events. During COVID she lost her job in the education system and since then, alongside these other events, she has not been able to gain stable or sustaining employment. She has been seeking professional counsel and has been working with the state to move out of her vehicle and into a home for her and her daughter; however, the process is long and time-consuming and there are no guarantees that she will get the help she needs.
As her chosen Ohana, we ask her community and beyond to offer a monetary donation in this forum to assist in her efforts to replace her vehicle, cover medical expenses, and rise above these circumstances.
Much love.
