Please assist Bro Colin Faux with medical expenses

I am Colin Faux, the fifth of six children, born to the late Rev. William Faux and Mrs. Shelmadine Faux. Both my parents lived lives of service, mainly in the field of education.

As a child, I had my chores at home as well as going to school, Sunday school and boys scout. I am one of the few Belizeans who attained the Queen's Scout award.

I attended primary, secondary and tertiary school in Belize and also the Belize Teachers Training college.

I initially embarked on my work career as an engineer at the citrus company in the private sector. However, the majority of my work life so far has been in service as a primary and secondary school teacher for 20 years, a cadet officer in the Belize Defense Force and currently continuing service as a police officer for the last 13 years to present.

As a young adult, I volunteered as troop leader for scouts. In the BDF, I was one of the first instructors of the BDF youth cadet Corps. After enrolling in the police, I was also one of the founding members/instructors of the police youth cadet Corps.

I am the proud father of 3 daughters and 1 son. I am very fond of fishing and farming. I love nature and adventure. I was an active member of the Steadfast Tourism and Conservation Association (STACA). I also volunteer with our church group in the village where I live to assist the needy and improve the quality of life for young people through meaningful activities aimed at educating and molding the minds of young people in our village community.

I am proud to say that my entire life has been of service to my country and the people in the communities I have been blessed with as a part of my journey.

In November 2023, I was diagnosed with a giant retroperitoneal mass which require surgery to remove. This has been affecting my overall health and I need the surgery urgently.

Please assist me with reaching my goal of US$20K. I know for some this is a paltry sum. For me and my family, this is not an amount of money we can come up with out of pocket easily.
