Please Be Normal is a web series starring Alice & Eliot, two roommates who find themselves on the perilous brink of eviction. After their third roommate passes away, their impatient landlord sends his wannabe-mogul son, Malik to collect the rent. Short on cash and desperate to keep their apartment, Alice and Eliot turn to the internet & find a complete stranger to rent the third room.
The new roommate, Chloe, seems pretty normal... at first. But to Alice & Eliot’s surprise, strangers you meet on the internet aren’t always as they appear… (Shocker!) As it turns out, Chloe has a psychotic plan for her future that nothing and no one can derail! (Despite Alice and Eliot's best efforts.)
I, Alice Hamilton, wrote this web series when I was in acting school. It’s 10 episodes, about 5-8 minutes each. It has been my dream to produce it since 2018, but since I could only use an acting student’s budget (which is basically zero) I’ve had to put my dreams on the shelf…
Finally, I have an AWESOME group of friends (some of the strongest comedians in Los Angeles), a great location, and producers who are teaming up behind my script to help make the project come to life! Now, we just need the funding.
We know this pilot can cut through the noise. We’ve worked our tails off to make this one of the funniest, most show-stopping web series ever created.
