Hi everyone,

Earlier this year, we found out that my mother had endometrial cancer. It was not the news we ever wanted to hear, but we rallied as a family to support her through this unprecedented time. Despite the battle she faced, she remained heavily faithful and optimistic that everything was going to work out. On November 28th, 2022, she underwent surgery.

The doctors are now practically certain that she is cancer free. We thank God for the woman that my mom is, and we are so grateful for the amazing care that He and the hospital staff provided to her. Now, it would be wrong to neglect the fact that she still has a road to recovery ahead of her. The recovery time is lengthy. Right now, she is essentially on bed rest. Over the coming weeks, she will work to get back to her normal life. Unfortunately, she will be out of work (both her cake business and her primary job). As we all know, bills do not halt themselves. I am not the head of the household, but I could only imagine the cost it takes to run a family of 5.

If your circumstances dictate, I ask you to please consider making a donation. Dealing with recovery from something like this is already stressful enough, and I would hate for the situation to be worse because of everything else going on.
