Please Could You Help Support Wrinkles Rescue

Wrinkles Rescue are a small self funding Shar Pei Rescue based near Leeds in the UK, but we rescue and rehome Shar Pei throughout the UK.

Unfortunately we're struggling to meet our costs, ie vet treatments, rehabilitation costs and kennel fees.

Many Shar-Pei coming into our care need extensive and complex veterinary treatments, on top of the basics spay, neuter and vaccinations etc. Individual cases can cost in excess of £5000 due to the intensive veterinary and rehabilitation treatment they require to get them on the road of recovery and ready to be rehomed.

One of these individual cases is our beautiful Maggie who's vet bill has already exceeded £10,000.

Maggie was found dumped in a car park around 18 months old, neglected, underweight, heavily pregnant and suffering with an untreated badly broken leg.

Against all odds Maggie safely delivered 5 healthy pups and has undergone reconstructive surgery on her leg. A leg which at one-time seemed likely to need amputating. She has also had entropion surgery on her eyes and has been spayed
