Please give in memory of Micah David Jones

This week, our family lost a son, a brother, a husband and a father.

Micah passed away suddenly and unexpectedly as he slept on Monday night, 11th December 2023. We are all in shock and await more details from the coroner’s office to better understand the cause. We are left devastated amid making plans for celebrating Christmas together.

Micah was always a friendly person, he was animated and larger than life. He liked to laugh and make others laugh. He was a hard worker and he always gave 100% effort. He was a generous person and he enjoyed giving to others. He had great dreams and plans for the future.

Micah leaves behind his dear wife, Huyen and 18 year old precious boy, Nathan. Huyen has been seriously unwell now for an extended period of time, due to diabetes, and is on the waitlist for a kidney transplant. She currently receives dialysis every 3 days at the hospital. She is weak and fragile at best.

Micah was her sole source of income and support, so amid coming to terms with the unexpected loss of her husband, she also faces significant financial obligations that she simply cannot currently meet, including vacating their home at the Sunshine Coast.

We are giving an opportunity for past and present friends of Micah and Huyen, and those who feel led, to give towards Micah’s funeral expenses, immediate living costs and relocation for Huyen and Nathan.

Your generosity, whether great or small, would help alleviate some of the stresses for Huyen, so that she can see to her own health challenges, and properly grieve and farewell her beloved husband of over 20 years.
