Please Donate in Support of Ja'lon's Family

On June 16th, just days after finishing the 5th grade, 11-year-old Ja'lon James, was struck by a speeding car while crossing the street near his home. He leaves behind a mother and six siblings, including a twin brother.

 

He was an energetic and warm-hearted child. He loved video games, making his brothers laugh, and exercising. At the boxing gym he attended twice a week, his happiest moments were spent with his brothers: tending the garden, playing tag, practicing his boxing skills, and spraying them with the water hose. His love for his family was obvious to everyone who knew him. Even on difficult days, he found ways to show love and appreciation for them.

 

Please help us make sure his family is supported during this difficult time. This fundraiser is to ensure that they can plan his arrangements and take time to grieve while covering all expenses. There is nothing that can ease the pain of this loss, but as a community, we can ensure that their needs are met so they can focus on starting their healing process.
