Please help teisha and Luke’s family ❤️

Hi, my name is Mahalia and I am beginning this GoFundMe on behalf of my caring and loving best friend, Teisha White/ Neilson, who was recently diagnosed with a aggressive brain tumor.

Just to fill you in a little bit; My friends name is Teisha, she is 28 years old and has lived in the Kempsey/ Port Macquarie region her entire life. Teisha has 2 young children Aria (4YO) and Nixon (2YO) and is also married to a wonderful man Luke Neilson.

Her story:

For the past 8 months Teisha has been experiencing symptoms of dizziness, blurred vision, perceptual distortion, Weakness in the legs and arms that many doctors continued to put down as “Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo”.

After some time the symptoms progressively worsened where she was unable to continue with her daily work duties and began to struggle with looking after her two babies without assistance from her husband and or family.

On Friday 16th September Teisha was assessed by a neurologist and an MRI was performed where they told her they had found a mass on her brain and to head straight to Port Macquarie Emergency where they would decide what steps to take next.

On Friday 16th, September 2022, we received the worst possible news that Our beautiful friend, was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor, that is roughly the size of an orange. Teisha and her husband were immediately flown to John hunter Hospital where the Neurosurgeon Dr Johnson and her team would begin a plan to operate in the up coming weeks.

As we continue to fight and pray for the miracle that our girl deserves, we are asking for your help. Along with all of your love and prayers for Teisha, we are asking for donations to help fight this battle.

With your donation we will be able to cover costs of travel and accommodation for Teisha, Luke and their family and also allow Luke to take the time off work to help with Aria & Nixon and Teisha’s long road to recovery.
