Please, help my Mom beat cancer!

My name is Polina. This is a photo of my Mom. When I was little, she taught me to be fearless. Today, I find my fearlessness put to the test because I am scared for her future.

My Mom was recently diagnosed with adenocarcinoma, a form of cancer. She currently lives alone, thousands of miles away from me, in a country with poor standards of medical care.

She had to undergo a lobectomy to remove a malignant tumor from her lung and still has a long road ahead. As a result of her surgery, she experiences constant fatigue, shortness of breath, dizziness and pain. She is unable to work and struggles with simple daily tasks.

It's my turn now to be there for my Mom. I want to give her the best chances of recovery and remission and be there for her emotionally. I want to provide her with cutting-edge treatment in London, UK, where I live, or Houston, US, where her sister lives.
