Allen Parish sheriff deputies and our colleague from Hayden Hoofbeats Haven just took custody of this handsome, long-neglected Tennessee Walker. He was tied to a tree with no hay or pasture, and the dirty ice chest beside him was empty. The day he was seized, the temperature was 105 degrees! The horse's owner was cited for cruelty to animals.
