Please donate to help B&B "spirit" Chris McAlpine

We are heartbroken friends of Christine and her warm, loving and welcoming B&B, House by the Side of the Road. We are asking you to help Chris prevail over an undue and unbelievable situation that has ejected her from her home and closed her B&B business (her retirement). Not surprisingly, if you have ever visited, her B&B business was strong and weathered COVID well, but sadly, she got ensnared in an unjust and unbelievable 7-year-long legal battle that has caused her this great anguish. Leading with her heart and her loving humanity, Chris extended care to a person in critical need many years ago and carried on sympathetically to help without regard for any possible legal ramifications. Chris just naively continued to do "what was right" for a person in need. It is in her DNA. Shockingly, the legal statutes, the legal system and a person with very questionable, negative motives have maneuvered Chris into a legal corner where she was unjustly forced to give up all she has worked for, leave her home without any compensation, and close her (seasonally sold-out) B&B business. Only "too late" Chris has realized the brutality of the legal system and the disregard for kindness in the face of unscrupulous legal maneuvers. Chris is in trouble and she needs your help. Can you donate to Chris's legal fund so she may fight back against this injustice? It is the only way that Chris can get her life back, carry on with a roof over her head and continue with her successful B&B business (welcoming, feeding and sheltering all). Chris has given her entire 74-year life to caring for others, (first as an RN (43 years) and then as a B&B owner), and we hope that it is now time for all of us to help her in her time of desperate need. Again, let's give Chris the means to fight a good legal fight. As everything has been stripped from her, let's aid Chris in getting her home back plus her successful retirement B&B business.
