Sometimes, life is disrupted by an unexpected and unforseen event - one that turns life on its head. One of these undesirable events has occurred in the life of our loved one and dear friend, Brenda Friend Schmidling.

We are deeply saddened to report that Brenda has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer that has metastasized to the liver.

If there is a bright side to this story, she has been blessed to become a patient of the top Pancreatic Cancer Oncologist in the United States. She will be traveling to Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle at least twice a month for overnight visits. The expenses for gas, lodging and meals can really take a toll on finances. Not to mention co-pays, etc.
