Please donate to help fix the Pet Connection van

Our Pet Connection van is the backbone of the shelter. Because of our van we are able to keep our doors open to the animals who desperately need help. The operation of Pet Connection Programs Inc. includes a substantial amount of travel. We are often making runs to Purina in Dunkirk and Tops Warehouse in Lancaster to pick up donations of large pallets weighing from 600-800 pounds each. Most of the time there are three pallets we pick up at once. These large donations give us the resources to fundraise and serve the community. Since the pandemic we have been using the van to make dog/cat food deliveries to families who are financially struggling. We also use the van to transport animals and to load up supplies for fundraisers. Without a full size 1 ton van we will not be able to operate which means we will not be able to continue to save lives. We have been piecing our van together for years now. It continues to have serious issues and is always on the verge of breaking down. We cannot risk losing this van because we are so dependent on it. Currently our van needs a new gas tank, sending unit, water pump, etc. We are desperate for donations to continue to fix our van. We will not be able to continue on as a shelter if we do not have an in working order van. We are DESPERATE to fix our van. Please donate today.
