Please help to secure Derrick Mcculloughs Final Farewell

My Name is Antonio and I'm writing on behalf of my brother Allan and the love of his life Derrick, who on Saturday, July 27th, 2024, unexpectedly passed. He was only 40 years old.
It pains me to have to create a GoFundMe page and ask for donations that will help to pay for the funeral expenses of my brother-in-law. But I ask with a humble and grieving heart. There is a need to raise enough funds to pay for funeral expenses and any extra that will help to be a blessing and alleviate other expenses that are sure to be incurred in the coming weeks for his widower.
SATURDAY, JULY 27TH, 2024
It was a normal day like any other. Allan woke up Saturday morning and went to the bathroom. He then returned to their bedroom to wake up his husband so they could start their day. Derrick was unresponsive. Time began moving at an unreal and rapid pace, and soon chaos ensured. The buzz of a 911 operator gathered and gave instructions, the L.A. County Fire Department Paramedics rushed through the door and into the room with Sheriff Deputies in tow until it all seemed to implode upon itself. And just as quickly as it started, silence abruptly reclaimed the scene. It had now been confirmed. Derrick was gone.
To many who knew Derrick, they could attest to his warmth and kindness, as well as his loving and nurturing spirit. One of his many qualities that is now being celebrated was the way he'd light up a room with merely his presence, and how his smile would lovingly greet you, which always made you feel welcomed. I could list countless testimonials about Derrick, but here is the point of this post. We need your help. Please Donate Today.
I wanted to include this passage written by my cousin Evelynn to give you an idea of the kind of soul Derrick was.
EPITOME OF LOVE
"You'd be hard-pressed to find one person who ever had a negative word to say about my son's "Uncle D"
He was the epitome of what makes a great man and uncle, he put Brae in check when he needed it, but he was also the starter of the nonsense, he riled Brae up before bed, snuck him candy, introduced my child to Starbucks, the non-caffeinated kind, he was quick to go on a Slurpee run, he introduced my son to the Jr Whopper at Burger King and to this day it's what he gets! even after we'd moved, Brae still called His Uncle D regularly to get on his nerves
He stayed up late with me every year putting together Braes toys for Christmas morning, was up early to watch the opening of the gifts with me and his Husband Allan and a cup of coffee cause we was 'tied...he showed up for concerts, birthdays, holidays, and EVERYTHING in between, he was one of the few uncles my child could always count on...
To know him was to love him....❤️"
