Hi. My name is Leese. I am a community member who has been running the Inverell and Surrounds local crime group for some time now. As a mother, Nan and wife of contributing members of society, I understand the importance of community involvement and safety. That's why I am dedicated to ensuring that our community is a safe place for everyone.

I want to raise funds to help out a local elderly gentleman who has been targeted with house break-ins five times this year; the 5th time was a Home Invasion where he was unfortunately beaten very badly and ended up in hospital. It appears the same three people, known to police, have targeted his home each time. A year ago, his car was stolen as well.

I hope we can raise money to install Security Cameras and Sensors around his home and to install security windows in a problem area. An amazing Inverell Resident generously donated a security door installed by Morgan Reece, our local Mobile Glass Installer.

John Paul is 82 and has lived in this home for over 6o years. His family is living in fear for him every day with worry that it will happen again.

Raising funds for security enhancements is a practical way to help John Paul feel safer in his home. Every contribution, no matter the size, can make a significant difference in improving his quality of life and peace of mind. When residents come together to protect and support one another, it's a testament to the kindness and solidarity within a community.

Everyone has the right to feel safe in their homes, regardless of age.
