Supporting Karla and Jim Ranier's family

Karla and Jim Rainier Acosta left us unexpectedly and proved that they remained true to their vow's "to have and to hold,to love and to cherish,till death do us part".

We organized this fundraiser in honor of our friends, Karla and Jim Ranier

to assist their family with their funeral expenses here in Canada, repatriation and their final arrangements in the Philippines

Karla and Jim's kindness, thoughfullness and generousity will always be remembered by many. Being a nurse, both were caring and compassionate by nature.

The couple met working as a dialysis nurse at St. John Biocare Center. They also both worked in SEHA (Abu dhabi Health Care services Co.) in Abu Dhabi then eventually moved to Canada to settle and to pursue their life's dream.

At the time of their passing, both worked at the Dialysis unit of Lake of the Woods District Hospital and Karla also worked at Pinecrest Home for the Aged.

Their co-workers enjoyed the pleasure of working with them because they were reliable, dependable, efficient, hardworker and always ready to offer their helping hand.

Despite their accomplishment, they remained humble and kind.

Karla was a good friend to many. She was a good listener and gives good advice. Karla will always be remembered with her loud, contagious laughs.

Jim was known to pamper his friends, giving them ride to make sure they safely reach home. He is jolly at the same time skillfull especially in making a just decision. Jim always volunteer and willing to help without hesitations. Friends often fondly calls him "Jimboy".

We are grateful for every donation you can give.

This will help their family focus making their final arrangements for Karla and Jim.

This fundraising is organized by friends and co-workers of Karla from Pinecrest Home for the Aged, Kenora, Ontario with permission of Karla and Jim's family.

The beneficiary of this fundraising will be the couple's family.

Arrangement for funeral mass will be posted on a later date.
