I have started this Go Fund Me for my little sister Marissa Flores. She has been diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer and has begun the biggest battle of her life.

Marissa Flores is 36 years young. Wife to Luis Flores and originally from San Juan. She graduated from PSJA Memorial High and after high school she attended UTPA where she became a teacher. She was currently a 5th grade teacher at LA Joya district. Cancer has separated my sister from her students and doing what she loves.

After going to a routine colonoscopy, her intestine was pierced and was then rushed to Renaissance hospital where emergency surgery was performed. It was then that stage 4 colon cancer was discovered.

Anyone who knows my sister, knows that she is a very loving person with a heart of gold. Marissa has now begun chemotherapy at MD Anderson in Houston and is positive as always with a fighting spirit.

My sister needs from her family, friends, co-workers and anyone who would find it in their heart to contribute with a monetary donation to help with family and medical expenses.
