Hi, my name is Marlene Thornton and for nine years I was a caregiver to my disabled baby sister. For the last three to four years, her care caused me to have to give up my job in order to properly care for her. My job became taking care of her. On October 10, 2022, my sister transitioned and I lost not only my sister; but my job as well. Surviving has eaten up my small savings while I look for other employment. Currently, I'm seeking employment but these funds will help me to pay bills until I become employed and able to stand on my own financially. At this present time, I see no other option but to start this Go Fund Me account.
