Hi, my name is Glenn, and I am setting up this fundraiser for my friend Lebron Jones who was recently involved in a violent car accident which has resulted in the loss/amputation of his left leg. Some of you may know, that I too, had a traumatic event in my life 2 1/2 years ago where I fell subject to my own illness, which resulted in the loss of some of my limbs. When I heard what happened to Lebron, I wanted to be there to help him understand the changes in his life and how he would emerge from this life event even stronger than before.

His aftercare, hospital bills, and support for his 10-year-old son LeBron Jordan Jones III will be critical in keeping his worries on his recovery and allowing the patience an amputee needs for the enduring task ahead.

Lebron is resting and in stable condition in a Dallas area hospital, where he was admitted following a highly traumatic accident after returning from the grocery store with his son. They were unloading groceries from the rear of the vehicle. After handing some groceries to Lebron Jr. to take inside, he reached inside to grab the rest of the bags when a vehicle struck him from behind with no notice and trapped him between the vehicles. Incredibly, Lebron survived this life-altering event, and after speaking with him for the last several days, he is optimistic about his future.
