Please Donate to help my loving Grand dad to live

Hello, This is Khate Lynn Dela Cruz, currently working in a hospital as a staff nurse. As an Overseas Filipino worker who works in a medical field, having a family member who is sick is a heartbreaking situation for us. My loving Grand dad Juanito Dela Cruz was diagnosed with Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm with the size of 7cm which is highly risk for rupturing. The disease itself is very risky given that his age (72) and other comorbidities like COPD, prev heart attack and BPH and so on. Other diseases were also discovered after a scan was done such as spondylolisthesis and cholelithiasis.

Before he went to the surgery he told me that he wants to live, so I promised to him that we will do our best to support him and to make him better . He needs an urgent surgery,

they prepare and conditioned his body for an operation however, Pulmonologist, Cardiologist and even the Cardio thoracic surgeon told as that it is a high risk surgery but we don’t have any choice except the operation, since there will be no other solution as the aneurysm is likely to rupture anytime.

He had an operation Last Friday that last for more than 9 hours, unexpectedly there is some complication on the surgery that is inevitable. His spleen was removed due to massive bleeding of 5liters and they need to transfuse a lot bloods, his kidneys is also compromised therefore a dialysis is needed to make his creatinine level to decrease. Currently he is on ICU due to his critical condition.

Unfortunately, the cost of the operation including hospital admission (ICU), dialysis and post-operative care, is substantial, and our family is struggling to bear this financial burden alone. We understand that times are tough for everyone, but we are reaching to ask for your

support, whether big or small, can make a significant difference in saving my Grand dad life. Any amount is greatly appreciated, and every contribution brings us one step closer to giving him a chance to live.

My Grand dad is the one who supported me and raised me, so it’s my time to support and give everything that I could give.
