This is a call to all those who have experienced Nina Katrina’s kindness, friendship and beautiful sultry singing voice over the years. Nina could use a helping hand from us right now.

The pandemic was hard on everybody. For people who earn their living as professional musicians it was particularly difficult as gigs dried up for months on end. Unfortunately for Nina, additional events conspired to deliver a perfect storm.

In early 2020, she had a knee replacement operation which limited her mobility and opportunity to work. In May of 2020 she was the victim of a terrifying hit and run. The perpetrator was not caught and the insurance company has still not paid out. The accident injured her spine which has severely affected the nerves in her right hand. She is still unable to play guitar - a major source of her income as it allows her to perform solo - and it has also made it difficult for her to write or perform simple household functions. After dealing with this for so long her savings have been wiped out and she is unable to pay her bills. The goal here is to tide her over and ensure she can keep living in her house until she is paid the insurance money she is owed and can get the medical attention she needs so she can play guitar again.
