Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un (إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ‎) — “To Allah we belong, and to Him we shall return.We are saddened to announces the sudden and unexpected passing of our beloved brother Ebrima Ngum from Serekunda Gambia. This tragic event occurred on Monday the 21 of October 2024, in Palermo italy, he was admitted in the hospital at Palermo. According to the hospital staffs, ebrima was in the isolation ward, in the evening of 20th October during at night around 2:45, the nurses said they had checked and the patient was asleep. After 40 minutes the nurse returned to recheck and found him death. The management of the hospital has ordered an internal check to clarify the circumstances of his death. Ebrima has been in Italy since 2017, an his family are seeking for assistance to repatriate his body to The Gambia for the final salut. May Allah forgive all his shortcomings and grant him Janatul Fidraus with all departed souls. Our sincere condolence to his family and friends. May his soul rest in perfect peace.
