Hello Everyone!

My name is Jill, and I am Tabitha Daniell-Gore's best friend. I am writing this fundraiser post in an attempt to help her get the $ for her urgent healthcare needs. She needs a lot of prayers and $ to get some much needed medical tests done. Even though she has health insurance, the out of pocket costs are still crazy expensive. (Which isn’t fair at all Especially for a person that isn’t able to work and has applied for disability) She is going through A LOT personally and with extreme failing health . She is unable to afford the amount of money that her doctors are asking for up front fees and co-pays in order to have life saving meds, tests, & procedures.

If you are unaware of her story, Tabitha is 42yo and a type 1 diabetic, and on her 3rd insulin pump, which isn’t keeping her sugar regulated at all. She is constantly having extreme lows and highs, which makes her feel lousy most of the time. Just her out of pocket cost for diabetic supplies and meds are unaffordable. Her Dr put her on Ozempic to help control her sugar and lower her A1C, without telling her any side effects. While it helped for a short time, she started getting really sick every time she’d take it. so She stopped taking it over 6 mths ago when she found out about these awful side effects. Fast forward to now and she’s vomiting frequently and unable to eat much of anything due to the shot side effect: gastroparesis. (Yes she is in the case going against the manufacturer, but we all know how long that takes… so I won’t say anything more about that.) I’d advise everyone stay away from any of the weight loss shots because of them causing these life altering side effects. She just found out in the past 2 mths that the brain tumor that she had removed in 2019 is now back. But she can’t worry about that right now because These episodes of vomiting are now daily and including blood. She’s been to her Dr & the ER twice this week due to worsening massive amounts of blood loss. So far they were only able to determine by CT scan that she has a severe infection in her intestines called colitis. This is not necessarily the only place that the bleeding is coming from, but she needs the Egd and colonoscopy test done. (along with a 4 day prep),to diagnose where it’s coming from. These are the prep & tests that she needs $ for asap. The sooner she gets $, the sooner she can have these tests done. They need to scope her ASAP to see exactly where the bleeding is coming from and causing her excruciating abdominal pain.

I am humbly asking for any donations that might allow her to come up with the $200 she needs for the pre procedure prep, and the $750 she needs up front for the physician's portion of the EGD and colonoscopy (this is also with insurance & the doctor working with her by giving her a discount .) They will not do the tests/ procedure without having the $ by the day of the tests. She’s also going to need multiple visits to the Gastro Dr (local) & neurosurgeon(an hour away) that will all cost copays and gas. So I humbly ask, PLEASE , if you can help in the smallest way, it would be greatly appreciated. She needs these tests done right away to diagnose what’s going on and hopefully help her. She also had some concerning protein markers show up in her bloodwork this week which has made her worry even more and made these tests even more important!. Ultimately we just want her to get answers and feel BETTER. No amount is to small, let’s collect enough for my bestie to get the tests, Dr appointments , & meds that she needs without having to worry about if she can afford to go or not.
