Hello, my name is Maria Tesseneer. My brother Daniel Blanset suffered a traumatic work accident on December 5th, 2023. He was doing tree work and fell from a lift bucket approximately 35 feet and landed on a rooftop. The fall knocked him unconscious and he suffered multiple broken bones and ribs including a break in his back and unfortunately has suffered a complete spinal cord injury that has left him permanently paralyzed from his belly button down. He has had to undergo extensive back surgery. By the grace of God he is alive and healing well, as much as he can with the circumstances given. However, this is a life changing injury that will take lots of adjustments and accommodations and life will look a lot different now. He is the soul provider of his family. Daniel and his wife Brittany have two children. They have a 13 year old son and 9 year old daughter. This will be a long road to recovery and most importantly we ask that you lift Daniel, Brittany, their children, along with all of our family up in prayer. We don’t always understand why these things happen but we do know that God has been good to us and that He has a plan for Daniel and his family. Regardless of what statistics or doctors may tell us we know that there are no limitations to what God can do and we are trusting in Him. If you are able, please consider donating to help with expenses around their home, monthly bills, and other finances that may arise.
