How to begin? Steve Burton was recently diagnosed . . . . That’s not it. . . Husband, father, grandpa and son. Steve, is everything to our family. He is a great husband and even better father. Bergandee and Steve have the ultimate father / daughter relationship. Back in June Steve started having a hard time swallowing. Not thinking anything of it because a known condition like this runs in his family. As time went on , he started to lose weight and it was apparent this was something he would need to get looked at. At the doctors recommendation they were going to stretch out his throat saying it’s began to shrink and stretching it helps almost instantly. Steve decided to go that route and upon getting a endoscopy it reveled he has stage 4 esophagus cancer. Stage 4 meaning the furthest advanced it can be. It has spread to his liver to some lymph nodes. He will begin treatment to help slow the spread.

If you know Steve, he is always putting his head down keeping busy, looking to help his grandsons, his beloved daughter or anyone he comes in contact with. For various reasons Steve does not have health insurance as a 1099 contractor. All this falls on a husband, father and grandfather who now needs our help. He would never ask for help! but as we are going into this holiday season if you find yourselves looking for someone to add a little Christmas cheer to please donate what you can.
