Evelyn Scott has been a fun and fiery presence at The Hillson Nut Company for over a decade. She is a very hardworking person and a fun coworker.

Recently Evelyn has been diagnosed with Mantle Cell Lymphoma. Mantle Cell lymphoma (MCL) is an aggressive, rare form of non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) that arises from cells originating in the “mantle zone.” The mantle zone is the outer ring of small lymphocytes surrounding the center of a lymphatic nodule. MCL accounts for roughly six percent of all NHL cases in the United States.

Evelyn has been working through her illness as she can, but her treatment is about to take an aggressive turn. She will need support through these times, and while we can support her emotionally, a financial cushion would very much help stress levels during this time.
