Hello everyone I'm a representative for Bounty Hunters 4-H club located in Wayne Co Ohio. One of our beloved advisors/parent has recently discovered that her cancer is back. This is two income family that has been forced into a one income family. And unfortunately Denise has been denied disability multiple times. Her daughter Sara is attending the University of Findlay working on her pre-vet degree. So money is tight with their medical expenses and paying for their daughter to attend college. This is a family that would give the shirt off of their back if it helped someone else. This is a family that puts others before themselves and they don't deserve the challenge they are facing right now. But Denise is a fighter and she will win this battle, but she needs our help.
The following is Denise’s Facebook announcing to everyone the news of her cancer returning. Just a little update. Sara's home for the weekend and we updated her on my news. So now it's time to let everybody know. 4 weeks ago I was in the ER with some severe back pain. We thought it may be kidney stones, but unfortunately the cancer is back and has spread throughout my body. 3 weeks ago Bill and I were running all over. I had five MRIS, a CAT scan, two X-Rays and a consultation for a full left hip replacement. The cancer is on my vertebra, near the head of my left femur, down in the sacral area of my pelvis and my right neck shoulder area. There is a hole in the head of the femur as well as in the 11th rib. The back pain is from nerve inflammation and has me confined to a chair for now. I finish 10 rounds of radiation on Monday and will begin chemo meds on Wednesday. For those of you that have known, I thank you for all the prayers. Please continue to be my prayer warriors.
Bill and some close friends here in Ohio have been doing everything they can to get me where I need to go. Thank you Michelle and Lee for feeding us. This battle is a little different than last time, but I will continue to fight. Love you all.
The latest info I have on Denise's condition is that she has 3 spots of cancer and the one on her neck is better it's about half the size it was. And they have put her on Palliative Care which is pain management that comes to her house.
We are asking everyone to donate to the Heeter family. We understand that it's the holidays and money is tight for everyone. Even if you can only donate a $1 it's something for this wonderful family. Our goal is 20k and all money collected will go to the Heeter family to help pay for medical, travel and any other expenses they need help paying for.
