Help Jacinto-Kaaikala Family Recover Lahaina Fire
Donation protected
Hi everyone my name is Alia, I have created this fundraiser in support of the Jacinto-Kaaikala family. I have been dating Malino Jacinto for almost 3 years now and his family have welcomed me many times into their beautiful home. They have showered me with endless love and have taught me a multitude of things surrounding their culture and the love that they have for their island. On August 8th their beautiful home burned down to the ground in the Lahaina fire along with all their belongings. Fortunately the family was able to make it out safely in time. The house was built from the ground up by Arsenio Jacinto who is turning 102 years old in December. A home which he built and has grown multiple generations of family members, he had to watch disappear. Because of the fire now 11 family members including Arsenio Jacinto, Dawn Kaaikala-Jacinto, Arthur Jacinto, Kalalani Kaaikala, Makana Kaaikala and Malino Jacinto to name a few, no longer have a place to call home. The Jacinto-Kaaikala’s have always been very giving and helpful to their community and all those around them. This family although resilient to whatever comes their way has already had a lot on their plate these past couple years and this fire destroyed everything.
100% of the funds will go to the Jacinto-Kaaikala family as they start to take on this new obstacle of having to rebuild all that they lost. The money will go towards the building of their house, food, clothes, and health necessities. This family means the world to me and anything helps. If able, please donate as little or as much as you want and most importantly please share.
Thank you so much.
