Please give Noah a chance of Life

Noah is in desperate need of life saving treatment abroad for an aggressive stage 4 Brain Cancer.

He will need to go to Germany to have the best chance.

My name is Manuela and this is my son Noah’s story

Noah is 17 year old. He lives in the Kyogle area and loves spending time with his family and friends.

10 months ago, Noah’s and our life has been turned upside down when he was diagnosed with a stage 4 brain tumor (Medulloblastoma).

He had surgery to remove the tumor, but they couldn’t remove all of it.

Not that this would have been enough 4 days after the surgery he developed Posterior Fossa Syndrome that is severely affecting his speech, balance and motor skills.

Before his brain surgery he was a normal teen. He enjoyed to surf and going to the beach. He had a job on a dairy farm and started to learn to drive.

As a result of this syndrome, Noah is not able to walk and his speech is very slow. He is now completely dependent on his family and may be left with deficits and his recovery significantly slowed.

In July this year he had another emergency surgery were he was flown with the helicopter to Brisbane as his brain could not drain the fluid so this required as second brain surgery to insert a shunt.

Noah is undergoing rehab to regain his motor skills and speech. While he continues to make small improvements each day, Noah will continue to require intensive physical, occupational and speech therapy for the foreseeable future, with the hope that he will one day make his way back to former self.

Noah just finished radiation therapy but now desperately needs further treatment abroad (which has great success stories) to give him the best chance of living.

We are not ones to normally ask for help, but we are in a desperate time of need.

So we are now asking for help from the Community to please dig deep so we can raise funds for him to be able to have this life saving treatment.

Your donation will help cover the cost of the treatment in Germany.

It will cover the treatment cost, flights, accommodation and living costs abroad.

Please share Noah’s story to all your friends, family and local community groups.

If we can reach at least 2500 people, and they just donate a minimum $20 each that will give him the $50 000 he needs for this life saving treatment.

We are beyond grateful, for all of the love, support and prayers that we have received and continue to receive from friends and the community.
