Please Help 11 year old Alina’s family

On October 2nd around 8:15pm Alina Topolnicky was struck by a vehicle in Calmar, AB while crossing a marked crosswalk on hwy 39. She is currently at the University hospital medically sedated to keep her calm and to help her brain recover. She suffered a skull fracture and brain bleed. She had to undergo emergency brain surgery to relieve pressure in her skull . They won’t know the full extent of her brain injury for sometime with the doctors estimating about 1 months time. Alina is also waiting for a CT scan to see if the bleeding has stopped as well as further tests and x-rays to rule out any spinal injuries. The full extent of all Alina’s injuries aren’t certain at this time . I was one of the first people on the scene and would like to help raise money for the family to cover any future medical costs like physiotherapy, counselling, medications etc . The money raised will also help with transportation costs, childcare, hospital parking and food expenses and any other expenses that the family may need help with as Alina is in the hospital recovering and so far in stable condition.
