Ian Williams is 45 years old and is dying from stage four brain cancer. He will be leaving behind a wife and two beautiful young boys.

Two months after the birth of his son in 2007, Ian was diagnosed with an Oligodendroglioma, and the doctors at the time did not think he was going to live long enough to see his sons first birthday. But he fought and endured many years of chemo and radiation. Any possible treatment known to science he has done, and he has fought hard to stay with his family.

In 2017, the tumour had grown significantly and there were no available treatments that had not already been tried. Ian took his chances and underwent surgery for the 3rd time to reduce the size of the tumour. Unfortunately, when he woke up it was discovered that his speech and movement on the right side of his body was impaired. This resulted in the family using the last of their savings to purchase the necessary medical equipment, additional therapy sessions, and renovations to the home so that Ian could still get around on his own. He worked very hard during physio and speech therapy, but unfortunately it did not allow him to regain movement or 100% of his speech.

Ian was unable to work due to the many medications, seizures, surgeries, and treatments he endured, and the family was forced to survive on one income. Because of the tumour, Ian was also unable to receive life insurance. He has always been there for his boys; Ian was the one that packed lunches, walked the kids to and from school, cooked dinner, helped with homework, cheered his sons on with sports and most of all demonstrated for his boys what it is to be a loving father and fighter!
Despite all best-efforts, Ian was diagnosed palliative in August 2021, he has been doing end of life care from home with his wife taking care of him herself. He has been on a rapid decline since then. This will be his last Christmas with his wife and boys and I would love to give them the gift of a miracle by presenting them with enough funds to help with debts, the boys futures, and to give Ian the proper funeral he deserves with a place for his friends and family to share their fond memories of him.

Please give generously, every dollar counts.
