Please help a single mom keep her son & home

After 12 years in a very difficult marriage, I am starting over. This time with a child. I am currently living on borrowed time in the only home that my son has ever known, and we are days away from receiving an eviction notice. The cost of rent is double what I make at my part-time employment, so I cannot pay it on my own.

I don’t have a car, so I’ve been relying on public transportation, Ubers and the graciousness of my friends to get me around to work, doctors appointments, and even the grocery store.

I am also facing a long, hard court battle for custody of my son, and I need legal counsel because I cannot do this on my own.

I never thought that I would be put in a situation where I would have to make a Go Fund Me, but I’ve been left with no other option, and I am desperate for help.

Please help my son and I stay in this home at least until the end of the school year. Anything helps. If you cannot donate, please share as much as possible to help me get this out to those who can.
