Please Help Alana Collins

On Saturday, October 21, Jared Collins tragically passed away after an illness at the age of 35, leaving behind his wife of 11 years, Alana Collins. As they were a two-income family, Alana is now left with unexpected and significant financial burdens. A local shellfisherman by trade, Jared also selflessly served his community as a selectboard member, and Alana works at Nauset Regional High School as an educator, affecting countless students’ lives in and out of the classroom. Both Jared and Alana have tried to make this community a better, more inclusive place. Please, if you are able, help Alana through this difficult time.
