Please help Amanda, Pattie and Frankie

Hi everyone my name is Filomena and I’m reaching out to see if you would be in a position to assist a lovely mother and daughter Amanda and Patti.

They were very unexpectedly hit with a financial crisis and loss of income after an illegal cancelation of Patti's alimony by the Family Responsibility Office. They are refusing to reclaim her missed payments and have informed her that they will no longer be adhering to the court order in place to deliver her future payments.

Assistance has been sought out by Legal Aid, the local MPP office, friends, and family. Little to no help seems to be able to come from it, and it is going to result in immediate eviction and loss of basic necessities in July if the loss of Patti's income can not be reobtained or supplemented.

Amanda works full-time but does not make enough to supply the rest of what is needed. She is already using her entire income to pay for everything else (bills, medication, food, insurance, etc.). There are no savings and a maxed out credit card (which has been solely used to buy necessities or to pay bills).

Amanda is currently looking for more work, but is limited to what is available due to her inability to obtain a higher education (due to financial reasons), and due to medical issues that prevent her from being able to drive.

Patti is fully disabled and has a number of medical issues that prevent her from being able to work at all. She is currently on CPP and has been told by Ontario Disability that they will deny her coverage if she tries to switch over in order to try and get assistance for her medication costs. Which are not covered with CPP and are very expensive. Additionally, Ontario Works (welfare) is not an option as they will take Amanda's income into account because she and Patti live together in order to ensure both are housed, safe, and provided for. Her income would then be cut, and they would be receiving even less per month than they're currently bringing in.

They have never been in a position where they have not been able to cover their expenses before, and are only in this position due to the illegal cancelation of Patti's alimony payments. Patti is legally entitled to those payments until the day she dies, as noted in her divorce agreement.

They are both doing everything in their power to fight against this and to find alternative sources of income if Patti's alimony is not restored. Funds would help while they sort out those details.

For those of you who know me, it wasn't long ago were a angel came to my rescue and ran one of this funds to help Jim and I out. Now I have a friend who is in need and I would like to pay the kindness that I received forward to this lovely mother and daughter.

Any help that can be offered to ensure Patti, Amanda, and their service dog, Frankie, are not homeless would be greatly appreciated.
