It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the passing of Greg Healy who passed on Friday, Nov. 1st after a 3 year long, on and off, again battle with Cancer.
The Cancer went into remission for a short time but the ugly disease came back. Greg battled Cancer valiantly with dignity, courage and bravery with his Family and friends helping and supporting him.
As the battle was nearing an end as sad as that reality is, one of Greg’s final wishes was to have a Get Together – Celebration of Life - if you will, that he could enjoy with his family and friends (past and present). Time was of the essence.
Childhood and longtime friends and family came from all over with last minute notice to celebrate with Greg and his loving family. He was loved by so many! This life celebration a little over 2 weeks ago!
His daughter, Katelyn who was engaged to be married next year decided at the last minute to get married at the Get Together so that her Father could have the pleasure and honor of walking her down the aisle and see her get married. This wedding (along with the Get Together) was planned in only days and it was beautiful.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Carolyn, 2 sons, Andrew and Nicholas, 2 daughters, Katelyn and husband, James, Joy and his granddaughter, Amber. He is also survived by his two sisters, Patricia L Healy, and Beverly E. Healy and other extended family.
As you can imagine, going to a one income household is daunting enough and adding cancer related healthcare bills only compounds the situation. Medical and household bills and expenses pile up and become overwhelming for the Caregivers while they’re trying to deal with the stress of someone sick with Cancer.
Losing a dear, loved one is difficult and overbearing enough. Please consider helping to relieve the Healy Family from some of their Medical, Household (present & future) and now Funeral financial burdens and bills by contributing to this GoFundMe.
Financial stress should be the last thing anyone should have to deal with now and in the future.
All contributions go directly to the family and No amount is too small.
Your love and support is greatly appreciated by the family.
Thank you!
