Hi, my name is Diane and I am hoping that people who read this will be able to help us raise funds for Belle's veterinary care. Belle just turned 1-yo and she represents my friend, Nicole's whole world.

Belle became unwell and lethargic about 8-days ago. Nicole took her to the vet who discovered she had a fever (40 degrees), bloods were done and she was prescribed antibiotics to treat a suspected infection.

Belle didn't perk up, returning to the Vet revealed her temperature was not lowering and her appetite was poor. Belle wouldn't even drink water unless Nicole raised her bowl to her mouth and enticed her to lap the water.

Yesterday, (monday) Nicole took Belle to be seen by the internal medicine specialist at QVS North Lakes. Dr. Katie quickly recognised Belle's symptoms and she was admitted for (CSF) Cerebro-Spinal Fluid and Joint fluid samples to be taken under anaesthetic. Nicole was beside herself at the severity of Belle's diagnosis, but Dr Katie reassured her that her prognosis with treatment was positive.

Belle's medical bills are currently sitting at $3,200 which will rise once her discharge medication is added.

Any amount of help $5, $20 will go a long way to helping Nicole who has had a really difficult time following a motor vehicle accident that has left her unable to work.
