Please Help Fund Baby Mateo’s Heart Surgery

Hi, my newborn nephew, baby Mateo Jayden Cangoy Felizardo who was born on October 3, 2021, is diagnosed with Congenital Heart Disease,

D-Transposition of Great Arteries, Ventricular Septal Defect, Perimembranous, Moderate, Atrial Septal Defect, Secundum, Patent Ductus Arteriosus, Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension.

In short, he was born with defective heart that has 2 holes and those main arteries carrying blood out of the heart are switched in position or transposed. A baby with this kind of heart defect need surgery immediately soon after birth.

He is for Arterial Switch Operation at the Philippine Heart Center in Manila AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. This procedure is with an estimated cost of atleast PHP 1.5M.

They are currently in the hospital and in need of hospital financials and prayers for a successful operation as well. Her mother can’t breastfeed him but pumped her milk because of his condition so he feeds through a tube that goes directly to his little tummy. So heartbreaking for us to know about the situation, can you imagine a newborn baby who supposed to be enjoying cuddles and suckling on mommy’s breastmilk soon after birth is there on the little box for phototeraphy, feeding on tube, getting poked everyday for blood works and transfusion.
