Please help Bashi Hosh’s wife and young son

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un (To Allah we belong and to Allah we return)

Allahu naxariisto to our uncle Bashi Hosh Jibril who was senselessly killed and robbed in Istanbul, the city where he was planning to relocate his family these last few months. Cowardice act to end the life of a wonderful, kind-hearted man who always wanted to do the right thing for people. Bashi was a Somali-Canadian community activist and paralegal who spent most of his days helping immigrants and refugees with their immigration and settlement in Toronto.

He loved his family dearly and occupied a very special place in all of our hearts. A devoted husband and loving father who was bound to board a flight from Istanbul to Somalia to reunite with his wife Fardowsa and young son Abdurahman.

We have set up this Gofundme to help support his wife and son during this extremely difficult time. We hope that the Somali community in Toronto and beyond can help us.

May Allah shower him with mercy, grant him jannah and reunite him with all of his loved ones. And may he find justice with the most Just. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
