Please Help Beatriz Regain Her Sight

Hi, my name is Lilia Descamps, and I am Beatriz's first cousin. We grew up together in Venezuela, enjoying a lovely childhood and a wonderful family. That was many years ago, and today, our country faces severe challenges, including a lack of basic necessities like medical supplies, food, electricity, and water.

I was fortunate enough to leave Venezuela, but Beatriz is unable to migrate to the U.S.

At 67, Beatriz relies on painting Baroque-style religious artworks and creating hand-painted children's clothing to make a living.

However, her advanced cataracts have significantly limited her ability to paint.

Cataract surgery costs $1,800 per eye, and with transportation and medication, the total amount needed is $4,000. All funds will go directly to the clinic.
