Please Help Becky O'Meara Beat Cancer

Hi, my name is Stephanie! Becky and I met in high school, and have been dear friends for 35 years, and over the years she has become a part of my family. I have started this fundraiser in order to help Becky and her family navigate the most recent health challenge that she is facing, which is Small Cell Carcinoma, a very aggressive form of cancer.
This is a post from Becky's Facebook that explains some of the details:
Well sweet friends, I had hoped to share better news. ***Feel free to skip this heavy news post if not up to it, and I completely understand. The culmination of many medical tests including the lung biopsy gave the final diagnosis of an aggressive inoperable lung cancer called Small Cell Carcinoma. When the lung mass first showed up on CT scan, I said I hope it's not SCLC because that's what took my mother's life as well as Tim's mother, but unfortunatelyhere we are. The plan is to start chemo and radiation together as soon as possible to shrink it before it spreads. Had appointments with a medical oncologist and radiation oncologist this morning along with several others on their team. There are some other factors to consider due to complex underlying conditions that are too much to explain in one post, but I may need surgery for my jaw infection either before starting chemo or in between rounds. Radiation will be every weekday for quite a while. I'm determined to do all I can to overcome this, and my top priority is connecting with others as much as possible. Every moment with loved ones has always been precious to me, and even more so now. Don't worry about saying the right or wrong thing...I'm just very thankful for each of you, for having the best fb friends in all the land, and for lifelong friends who can pick up where we left off, so much to be thankful for. Also very thankful for helpful doctors, nurses, lab and imaging techs, and others especially the top-notch pulmonologists at Sanford in Fargo. Much love to all.
Becky has faced several health challenges over the last few years, and this will be her biggest fight yet. A few years ago, Becky was diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (which is a group of genetic disorders) after years of being misdiagnosed, and this with some of her other health issues will make her cancer journey even harder to figure out and go through, but we have faith in her wonderful doctor's that they will be able to navigate her unique health issues. There will be many, many costs and expenses associated with her treatments and care. Becky's amazing boyfriend of many years, Tim, has also had to miss a lot of work in order to get her to tests, appointments, treatments, among many other things, and this will continue for the foreseeable future.
I am hoping to relieve some of the financial pressures that come with a diagnosis like this for Becky and her family so that they can all truly focus on this health journey with no other distractions or worries. Becky is truly one of the nicest and kindest people I have ever met in my entire life, and she is always worried about others before she ever worries about herself, and she always wants to find ways to help people. An example of this is when she was diagnosed Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, Becky who has always been a pretty private person decided to share her diagnosis to bring awareness to others, as this is a very serious and rare condition. There is very little research for EDS and treatment options are almost nonexistent, so Becky wanted to do whatever she could to help anyone and everyone who has this disease.
I fully understand that life is hard for a lot of people right now, and sending love, prayers, positive energy and healing vibes to Becky are just as important and needed as the financial aspect!
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and if anyone has any questions or other ideas to help Becky through this, please message me through here.
