Please Help Fund Bizzie's Emergency Medical Care

Hi Everyone,

I'm reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support. My sister's dog, Bizzie, is in urgent need of medical care. This past weekend, Bizzie was rushed to the hospital where we learned that her bladder is full of stones. She is in need of surgery, but has been in critical condition to the point where the doctors are unable to perform surgery until her vitals and kidneys levels are stabilized. Unfortunately, the necessary treatment and surgery are costly beyond what we can manage alone.

My sister, Maricon, initially fostered Bizzie to help Bizzie’s previous owner. When they couldn’t find a permanent home for Bizzie, Maricon decided to take care of her as her own and adopted Bizzie in January of 2023.

As most of you know, Maricon already had a dog for 13 years, named Brady, and also had her hands full with work and life. During this time, she still welcomed Bizzie with open arms knowing that if no one stepped up, Bizzie would’ve ended up in the shelter.

This just shows how selfless and caring my sister is. Maricon did a great job of taking care of Bizzie and Brady, and loving both of them unconditionally! Unfortunately, as most of you know, in April of this year, Brady passed away. It has been a hard year for Maricon emotionally and now learning that Bizzie is also in pain is truly heartbreaking.

The estimated cost for Bizzie's treatment is $20k+ which includes consultations, medications, lab work, hospital care, and surgery. Every day that Bizzie is at the hospital is an additional $3.5k/day and it has already been Day 3 (Bizzie is currently still at the hospital). This is, unfortunately, an unexpected financial burden that is too much for one person to handle.
