Please help Bob Orr & his family
Donation protected
Bob Orr is 46 years old with a beautiful wife, Jessica and two teenage children, EJ (16) and Ava (15). You can find Bob on the sidelines, cheering Ava on at softball and soccer, and EJ at cross country meets. You’ll also see Bob at CHS football games, supporting both children as they perform with the marching band. All the while, Bob himself stays active by cycling long distances and running and skiing. That’s why when Bob woke up feeling dizzy, he thought it was just an episode of vertigo. Several days later when the dizziness returned and was so intense that he was unable to walk, he was rushed to the emergency room.
Bob suffered a cerebellar stroke and underwent an emergency craniotomy. He is being treated in the ICU, and Jessica is by his side day and night. There are still so many unknowns. His predicted time to recover is six months to 2 years. It is still unclear when or if Bob will be able to return to work.
Bob and Jess had already learned not to take their good health for granted. This time last year, Bob was laser-focused on caring for Jessica, who had been diagnosed with breast cancer. Jessica underwent a double mastectomy, reconstructive surgery, and is still undergoing physical therapy to regain her full range of motion. Then, one year later, when things seemed to be finally, and slowly, returning to normal, Bob suffered this stroke.
We have started this Go Fund Me Page account to ease the burden of the many unforeseen expenses they will encounter during Bob’s rehabilitation and recovery. It will let Bob and Jessica focus on Bob’s rehab without being overly distracted by monetary stresses. From the bottom of our hearts, we humbly ask that you share this link with friends and family, and if possible, please donate (any amount will help). We thank you for your support and know that Bob and Jess do as well.
