Boog is a FeLV+ kitty we rescued a little over a year ago. We got Boog as a friend for another FeLV+ cat who had made her home in our garage.

Boog had just started to get used to the good life, when we realized he wasn’t acting right. After lots of tests and vet appointments, our boy was given another terrifying diagnosis- Neuro FIP. This illness was considered 100% fatal five years ago, but scientific breakthroughs have made it treatable 90% of the time. The only catch is that the medication is very expensive, around 2,000 for the entire series of treatment, not including labs and other supply costs.

Most people see Boog’s list of medical issues and would give up, but he hasn’t yet. We won’t either! We think Boog deserves a chance to fight, we just need a little financial assistance to make it possible.
